It has been reported by one source that Enoch Jones was a doctor and served as Assistant Surgeon in the War of 1812 in Com. Perry’s fleet on the Great Lakes. At the time, he was said to have been a young doctor, just out of college.

Melissa Edna Jones was married first to Absolem Tumlimson and second to Ulysses Rabb. Robert F. Tumlinson, L.M. Rabb and Paul M. Rabb are children from these marriages.
